Someone once told me I should have been a writer. Whether that was to tell me I wasn’t very good at my current job or that I was a better written communicator than a verbal one, I am not sure.

Michael 5 out of 5 stars A solid foundation for any salesperson or sales manager. Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2023
If you’re going to take advice from anyone, take it from someone who has worked the trenches and been successful at it. Chris Fleming has built an impressive career in the broadcasting industry — and he has provided numerous insights that will serve anyone who is willing to look themselves in the mirror and challenge themselves to do better. This book is the equivalent of having a really good manager or family member taking you under his or her wing and sharing their secrets to success.
Selling is a momentum business. If you don’t build that momentum, life is going to be miserable and hard. If you do, then life’s a lot easier as you continually close bigger and bigger deals at higher and higher margins — with each successive year being better than the last. As the head of business development at a couple of Silicon Valley creative agencies, I’ve lived it.
Managing and focusing your time in order to build an ongoing pipeline, justifying your worth and the value of what you’re selling, to avoiding bad decisions that will weaken the foundation that your business is built on — Chris covers everything in a conversational style that’s easy to read via a series of quick hitting chapters that can be read in available scraps to time.
If you’re a sales professional eager to improve your performance through the development of positive habits all designed around continuous processes of improvement — the money you put out for this book will be money well spent.
